Virtue Theory And Abortion Hursthouse

sentenced in the case Vestri

The former editor of the Nice-Matin and four journalists have just been convicted of libel by the Nice Criminal Court fine of 1,000 € each. It will also pay all together € 1,500 in damages and € 1,500 in legal fees.
Judgement shall also be published in the local newspaper.

All this is linked to two articles describing an alleged corruption in the construction of the tower Odeon Monaco. This case is still under investigation headed by the national inter-regional in Marseille. Yet the mayor of Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, René Vestri was indicted last April 27 to money laundering and influence peddling in connection with this matter.
So far journalists have Nice-Matin not appeal this decision.
